Moscow. About 40 flights were delayed at Moscow’s Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports in Russia on Tuesday, following reports of attempted Ukrainian drone attacks. The schedule service of Russian IT giant Yandex gave this information.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that Russian air defense forces had destroyed Ukrainian drones in the Kaluga and Moscow regions. Another drone was destroyed in the Tver region while flying toward the Russian capital, he said, with no casualties or damage reported.
It is noteworthy that as soon as information about the attacks was received, 24 flights were delayed and two others were canceled at Moscow Airport Vnukovo at around 02:25 local time on Monday. Two flights were delayed at Domodedovo airport, 14 more flights were delayed at Sheremetyevo.
