MEXICO CITY (apro).- The deputy of the National Action Party (PAN), María Elena Pérez -Jaén Zermeño, assured that Ana Gabriela Guevara, head of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (Conade), disappeared 500 million pesos during his management.
Ana Guevara has become involved in the controversy again, because in addition to the accusation, the PAN deputy also explained that she made 47 complaints against Conade and the former sprinter.
“When I was in the prosecutor’s office, someone notified the special prosecutor in combating corruption María de la Luz Mijangos that I was there. Then, she asks me if I can go up to her office. I go to her office, and she says to me: ‘Now what do you bring me?’ Well now I bring you 47 complaints against Conade and Ana Gabriela Guevara.
“I spend all my time researching… someone has to do it. (In Conade) there is a loss of almost 500 million pesos, 500 million pesos disappeared, Ana Gabriela,” said Pérez-Jaén in an interview with Carlos Alazraki.
Likewise, the PAN deputy demanded that the Conade directive be duly investigated by the legal authority.
“She is the fastest sprinter, but public resources disappear,” said the deputy.
