Bella Hadid says Instagram blocked her posts about Palestine

Palestinian-American supermodel Bella Hadid says Instagram blocks her whenever she posts something about Palestine.

“My Instagram has deactivated my instastory posts – pretty much only when it’s Palestinian, so I’m going to assume,” he said.

“When I post about Palestine, I immediately get a shadow ban and almost 1 million fewer than you can see my stories and posts,” she told fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

The shadow ban is a temporary sanction from Instagram where the post’s reach is drastically reduced, the magazine said.

Tensions have risen across the Palestinian territories since Israeli forces stormed the grounds of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday, wounding hundreds of people.

On Sunday, more than 700 Israeli settlers forced their way into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under tight police protection to celebrate the week-long Jewish Passover holiday, which begins on Friday.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site in the world for Muslims.

Jews call the area the “Temple Mount” and claim it was the site of two Jewish temples in ancient times.

Israel occupied East Jerusalem, where Al-Aqsa is located, during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.

Israel annexed the entire city in 1980 in a move never recognized by the international community.
