Their star fast bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury. In his place, a 20-year-old youth player has been given a chance in the team. Whoever wins the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Super-Four match will face India in the final on September 17.

Naseem became an expensive bowler while bowling against India. He conceded 53 runs in 9.2 overs and did not take a single wicket.
