Collectives and activists close streets in Puebla in demand of actions against animal abuse

PUEBLA, Pue., September 5 (appro).- Collectives and activists closed the busy Vía Atlixcáyotl in this city to demand that the government of Salomón Céspedes Peregrina take effective actions and measures to reduce animal abuse in the state.

After recent cases, such as the one spread on social networks of a subject who threw a small dog from the third floor of an apartment building, activist Arturo Islas called for this demonstration in which he demands justice and punishment for those responsible.

“I will be your voice, I will be your voice,” chanted dozens of animal rights defenders, who launched claims against the Puebla government for not having complied with agreements made in previous demonstrations.

The animalists keep Vía Atlixcáyotl, one of the busiest arteries in the city, closed and announced that they will remain until they are heard.
