New Delhi: Spanish President Pedro Sanchez has been diagnosed with Covid-19. He will not participate in the G20 summit in Delhi due to illness. Sanchez’s health condition is satisfactory.
In the absence of the President, Vice President Nadia Calvino Santamaria and Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez will participate. The Spanish President announced that he had been diagnosed with Covid-19 this afternoon.
Due to illness, he will not be able to go to Delhi for the G20 summit. His health condition is satisfactory. He announced on Twitter that the Vice President and the Foreign Minister will participate in the summit. The Spanish president is the third head of state to stay away from the summit after Russia’s Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping. The G20 summit is being held in Delhi, the national capital, on September 9 and 10.
