New Delhi

Parents show affection for their children in various ways. Original politician India Om Sagar, buy land in Month as a sign of love for his son, Namaya Sagar.

Sagar is one of the ruling party politicians in India. In addition, he is also a respected property entrepreneur in the Bareilly area, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Sagar buys a acre of land in Bulan near the Lake of Dreams, one of the prominent areas of Bulan. He bought the land through Luna Society International, an organization based in New York, USA that sells real estate properties in space.

“My son is like the Moon to me. So I want to give him a ‘piece’ of the Moon as a gift,” said Sagar as quoted by ZeeNews India.

Sagar was not willing to reveal the price of the land. However, what is clear is that he confirmed that he had registered ownership of the land in his son’s name with Luna Society International. His wife, Rekha Sagar, said they want their son to be successful and to reach the Moon one day.

For your information, Luna Society International is one of two companies in the world that claims to sell land on the Moon. Another company is the International Lunar Lands Registry. These two companies have customers from ‘sultans’, aka rich people from all over the world, including India.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been aggressively pushing for space missions to play a bigger role on a world stage dominated by the US, Russia and China.

India is also privatizing space launches and working to open up the sector to foreign investment. The country aims to increase its share of the global launch market by five times over the next decade.

As space turns into a global business in the future, the country is also banking on the success of India’s national research and space agency ISRO in demonstrating its prowess in the sector.
