Erdogan: “We do not have a favorable opinion regarding the accession of Finland and Sweden to OTAN”

AA / Ankara / Tuncay Çakmak

The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced that he did not seek a favorable opinion on the accession of Finland and Sweden to OTAN.

The Chef of the Turkish state answered the questions of the journalists, vendredi, après avoir participated in the grand priori of vendredi à la mosquée Ali d’Istanbul.

Erdogan reacted to the decree of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Cheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed al Nahyan.

“It’s a bad house for a long time. It’s augmented by the weather. God willing, we’ll make a visit.

The Turkish President is an expropriated expatriate of declared volunteers from Finland and Sweden to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (OTAN).

“We do not expect the development to take place, but we do not have a favorable opinion of the subject”, he said.

He added: “The previous governing bodies not only pay attention to the demand for accession from Greece to OTAN. However, Greece has adopted a position against Turkey that is not about “Alliance. We also do not have the will, as Turkey does, to have two or three mistakes.”

Erdogan explicitly stated his position as a scapegoat for the Scandinavians who pay attention to terrorist organizations such as the PKK or the DHKP-C (extreme extremists).

“Ils they practically do not follow the steps of any of these parliaments. We can not avoid a positive approach,” he said.

In Greece, however, the Turkish leader preferred not to comment on the future confrontation between the American president, Joe Biden, and the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, scheduled for May 16 in Washington.

“They want to see what Biden’s declarations are about and what they are about to find. But also from Mitsotakis. We also react to the fact that these declarations are observed, especially by Biden,” he said.

The Greek Prime Minister is notoriously demanding that the US administration not send new F-16 chassis to Turkey.

In other words, the Turkish president denounced the American version of the example of the Syrian Democratic Forces (mainly constituent members of the YPG / PKK terrorist organization) and the sanctions imposed on Syria.

“The YPG is a terrorist group just like the PKK. We can no longer accept such a mistake,” he said.

Erdoan complained that several years ago, the different US administrations in the post had all the financial and military support of the YPG / PKK terrorist group in Syria, notably through the military intervention of trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition.

The Turkish Chief of Staff is determined to ensure that Turkey’s determined fight against terrorism continues in Iraq, as in Syria.
