Kissinger was born in 1923 in Germany. He came to America in 1938. Later, in 1943, he became an American citizen. He then served in the US Army for three years. Apart from this, he has also worked in the Counter Intelligence Corps. After earning bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees, he taught international relations at Harvard. In 1969, he was appointed National Security Advisor by then President Richard Nixon. This position was very important for him. Kissinger was in the news during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. His role during the war was very controversial. Due to this war, Bangladesh emerged as an independent country on the world map.
