In Canada, an unidentified man opened fire on Muslims near a mosque, 5 people were injured

In Toronto, an unidentified man opened fire on Muslims returning from Tarawih prayers, as a result of which 5 people were injured.

Toronto Police spokesman David Ridzik said the incident took place near the Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque in the Scarborough area.

According to him, the incident occurred on Saturday at about 01:00 local time, an unknown person from the car opened fire on Muslims who left the mosque after the Tarawih prayer. As a result, five people were injured.

Ridzik said that there is no threat to the lives of the victims, three of them have already been discharged from the hospital, two are still being treated.
