Leaders Online Desk: In the fifth Test between India and England, India’s first innings ended on 477 runs and a lead of 259 runs.

Anderson third bowler in the world to take 700 wickets

England’s great bowler James Anderson has completed 700 Test wickets. On the third day of the Dharamsala Test on Saturday, he did this special feat by dismissing Kuldeep Yadav. He is the first fast bowler in the world and the third bowler overall to achieve this milestone. Only Muttiah Muralitharan (800) and Shane Warne (708) have taken more Test wickets than him.

Ninth blow for India, Kuldeep out

India’s score is 477 runs for nine wickets. Kuldeep shared a partnership of 49 runs with Bumrah. Currently, Siraj and Bumrah are at the crease. Team India’s lead is 259 runs.

The next day, Team India had a double blast. India scored two centuries and two fifties on Friday. Skipper Rohit Sharman scored 103 while Shubman Gill scored 110, followed by two young batsmen with half-centuries, Sarfaraz Khan scoring an aggressive knock of 56. He was well supported by Devdutt Padikkal scoring 65 runs off 103 balls.
