IND vs ENG 5th Test: Team India dominated on the first day of the Dharamshala Test leader

After winning the toss and batting first, England got off to a good start. Ben Duckett and Jack Crowley put on a 64-run partnership for the first wicket. Kuldeep broke this partnership. He had Duckett caught by Shubman Gilkar. Duckett scored 27 runs in his innings. Crowley then completed his 14th Test half-century and fifth against India. Indian bowlers bowled 25.3 overs in the first session. In this, England scored 100 runs by losing 2 wickets. After this, in the second session, England scored 94 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 29.3 overs. At one point, England’s score was 137 for two in the 38th over. After the fall of Crowley’s wicket, England’s innings collapsed. At 137 for two, the team was reduced to 218 in the 58th over.

Crowley scored 79 runs off 108 balls with the help of 11 fours and 1 six. Joe Root was dismissed for 26 runs, while Jonny Bairstow, who played his 100th Test, was dismissed for 29 runs. Kuldeep didn’t even allow captain Ben Stokes to open the account. With England on 175 runs, the team lost the wickets of Bairstow, Root and Stokes. Ashwin sent Hartley (6) and Wood (0) to the pavilion in the 50th over of the innings. After this, Anderson (0) was sent to the pavilion and England’s innings ended on 218 runs. Bashir remained unbeaten with 11 runs. In bowling, Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for India. At the same time, Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets in his 100th Test match. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket. That means all 10 wickets of England were taken by spinners.

Jaiswal’s historic achievement

India’s left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has created history in Test cricket. He has become the batsman to score 1000 Test runs in the least number of matches for India. He has broken the records of great batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Vinod Kambli. Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved this feat in the last match of the five-Test series against England at the HPCA Cricket Stadium in Dharamsala.

1000th run in only 9th Test

Jaiswal reached the 1000 run mark in Test cricket with his 29th run in the first innings of the fifth Test. He became one of the few players to score 1000 runs as an opener in Test cricket. He managed to cross the 1000-run mark for India in just 9 Tests. No other batsman has completed 1000 runs for India in fewer Tests than him. (IND vs ENG 5th Test)

1000 runs in 239 days!

Yashasvi Jaiswal is the Indian batsman who scored 1000 Test runs in the shortest number of days. He completed 1000 runs in 239 days after his debut. Rahul Dravid is second in this regard. He did this feat in 299 days.

Sir Don Bradman completed 1000 runs in just seven Test matches. They are at the top. No one has been able to achieve such a feat in 7 or 8 matches without him. Jaiswal became the fourth player in the world to score 1000 Test runs in 9 innings. Everton Weeks, Herbert Sutcliffe and George Hadley have done the feat before him. (IND vs ENG 5th Test)

A special record is recorded in the name of Kuldeep

Kuldeep Yadav made a special record by bowling brilliantly for Team India. In the last 100 years, Kuldeep has reached the number one position in terms of taking 50 wickets with the fewest balls. He also reached the top position in the list of Indian bowlers. Kuldeep has completed 50 wickets off 1871 balls.

Jonny Bairstow, who was playing his 100th Test, became Kuldeep’s half-century victim. Bairstow is caught by Dhruv Jurel of the wicket. Prior to Kuldeep, Akshar Patel had completed 50 wickets for India in 2205 balls while fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah had completed 50 wickets in 2465 balls for India. Apart from this, he has become the fifth Indian bowler to take 50 or more wickets in all three formats. Before him, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have achieved this feat for India.
