Industry allocates 10.6 million to 59 industrial cluster projects in Aragon

The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has published the final resolution of the call for the Support Program for Innovative Business Groups (AEIs), for which Aragón receives 10,619,888 euros for 59 industrial cluster projects.

Aragon is the second Autonomous Community that receives the most money of this call, after Catalonia. It is also the second in which the most projects were presented, with 67 applications received.

The final resolution awards a total investment of 54 million euros to 281 projects. The average amount of the subsidy amounts to 191,664 euros, the Government of Spain has reported.

For the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, this support program is “essential” to promote national industrial clusters, “managing to jointly mobilize knowledge centers, SMEs and large companies in the development of common projects that promote the economic fabric of Spain”.

The most benefited sectors In this 2023 call they are the ICT sector with 68 projects, followed by the environment and energy with 52, the agri-food sector with 46 projects and the automotive sector with 21.
