“So for cybersecurity, my understanding is that in Indonesia, around 80% of cybersecurity attacks come from endpoint devices,” Codrington said in an interview with detikINET in Jakarta, Thursday (31/8/2023).
Codrington explained that in terms of products, Lenovo has provided a series of features and solutions to increase cyber security on user devices.
Starting from biometric protections such as fingerprint and facial recognition that are easy for users to understand, to more complex ones such as data encryption, BitLocker protection, and other built-in software features.
For enterprise consumers, Codrington advises companies to explain the importance of cyber security to their employees, especially to maintain the confidentiality of company data.
While these security features and solutions are readily available, Codrington says their effectiveness depends on whether users can take advantage of them or not. Therefore, system cyber protection This should be made as easy as possible so that it is easy to understand.
“We have a number of mechanisms for end users to protect themselves without having to understand the technology, right?” Codrington said.
