As part of Operation Pençe-Kilit, a large number of weapons and ammunition were intercepted from the terrorist organization PKK.

So, recently, the Turkish military intercepted 20 hand grenades, RPG-7 MLRS, three AK-47 assault rifles, a Dragunov sniper rifle and two magazines, a Kalashnikov machine gun, 13 RPG-7 anti-tank machine guns, 58 mortar ammunition, 9 mortar cumulative ammunition, 400 rounds of ammunition to the Dochka machine gun, as well as 13 improvised explosive devices, the department stressed.
The operations also uncovered various electronic circuit materials used in the manufacture of improvised explosive devices, a detonating fuse, liquid mercury, 2 oxygen tanks and 3 radio transmitters, 19 radio frequency transmitters, 1 radio receiver, a first aid kit, two heat umbrellas and a headlamp mount.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that since 1984, when the PKK militants first carried out a terrorist attack in Turkey, thousands of Turkish security forces, military and civilians have died at the hands of this bloody organization.
The United States and the European Union have designated the PKK as a terrorist organization.
In recent years, the PKK has sought to shift responsibility for the bloody crimes in the region to its offshoots.
In Syria, PKK terrorists cover themselves with the names PYD and YPG, and in the last two years they have called themselves the “Syrian Democratic Forces”.
In Iran, the PKK operates as the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK).
