Mariachis from Guadalajara: They exploded at home! The ninth Guadalajara is imposed by beating against Rieleros

With a show of power in the batter’s box, the Guadalajara Mariachi reverberated in the Pan-American Stadium and thrashed the Aguascalientes railroad workers after winning by scoreboard 14-2 in the first game of the series.

The Mariachis played from start to finish. They were present on the scoreboard from the first inning with a five-run rally and from then on they rang the register in each of the innings to seal the resounding victory against Rieleros.

With three produced races each, Fernando Pérez and Christian Ibarra spearheaded the offensive mariachis in this, which was the first duel played at the Pan American Stadium under the new seven-inning format.

Fernando Pérez had hits in three of his five at-bats, while Christian Ibarra hit Mariachis’ only home run to bring in three runs in the fourth.

Finally, the Guadalajara team’s pitching took a breather after the bad start to the season. Luis Miranda took the victory as the starting pitcher for Mariachis. He pitched five innings, struck out four and allowed just three hits and one run.

For its part, Luis Sardines continues on at bat. He only had one hit tonight, but he continues his streak of 10 consecutive games hitting unstoppable in this 2022 season of the Mexican Baseball League.

Mariachis finally started a crossing with the right foot and this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. they will play the second confrontation against Rieleros in search of winning their first series of the tournament.
