After the “paper” of the direction of the men’s national teams and the Puebla Strip, when trying to hack Gerardo Espinoza to be his coachr, the U-23 team would be left without a head and it was this Thursday when a replacement was finally appointed to take the reins of the Mexican youth team: Ricardo Cadena.
The Mexican technical director has already had important jobs in his careerfrom teams from the Liga de Expansión MX such as Tapatío and Celaya, to Guadalajara in the First Division, with a job full of ups and downs, where he suggested that it was the solution for the bad moment of the Sacred Flock, until they got back into a deep crisis of results.
Cadena will sign a long-term contract, with the hope of being able to fulfill it, just as Gerardo Espinoza had done when he left Tapatío from the silver division of Mexican soccer and with whom he was champion.
The U-23 team will be active soon, as a preparation match against Colombia is scheduled at the Tlahuicole Stadium, home of the Coyotes de Tlaxcala team of the Expansion League.
