Microsoft Lay Off: Microsoft will lay off 11,000 employees due to global economic recession

Washington. America’s giant software company Microsoft will lay off about 11,000 of its employees in view of the fear of global economic recession. Sky News has given this report.

The report released on Tuesday said that this number is five percent of the employees working in Microsoft. While an analyst said that this number could also increase. The report says Microsoft chief Satya Nadella may announce layoffs ahead of an update to financial investors on January 24.

This company with 1.78 trillion has more than two lakh 20 thousand employees worldwide. According to the report, software companies Microsoft and Amazon are facing a global economic slowdown after hiring hundreds of new employees during the Covid 18 Pandemic.

Microsoft warned in October of a slowdown in its computing business, in which the company has invested considerable resources in hopes of growth. Microsoft declined to comment on the matter, calling it rumor and speculation.
