More than 25,000 dead from Israeli attacks in Gaza since the start of the war

New attacks in the Gaza Strip

According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, in recent hours there have been attacks in several parts of the Strip.

“Three people died as a result of the aerial bombardment of a vehicle in which they were traveling in the Yarmouk neighborhood of Gaza City,” Wafa said, citing local sources.

In turn, there were air strikes against a house in the Al Zeitoun neighborhood, also in Gaza city, “where several citizens were killed and others were injured.”

On the other hand, there were more operations in the city itself. On Saturday night, Israeli snipers killed several people and injured people in the Al Katiba area in the southwest, and fighter jets attacked the Al Shati refugee camp in the northern part of Gaza City on the line of sea.

In the southern Khan Younis area, where fighting continues daily since the extension of the Israeli ground offensive towards the south in early December, Wafa reported artillery attacks on the Al Manara neighborhood, and shelling against its western area, in the Al Amal neighborhood, which left one dead and several injured.

In addition, “the coastal areas of the city of Deir Balah” in central Gaza and Khan Yunis itself were also bombed.

The Israeli Army attacked “the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis with artillery for several hours,” according to the Wafa agency.

This Saturday, according to the medical services of the Palestinian Red Crescent, Israeli forces attacked the surroundings of the Al Amal health center, also in the Khan Yunis district, and the Crescent teams assured that they recorded four deaths from an attack “against a civilian vehicle” in Rafah, in the southernmost area of ​​the enclave where there are more than a million of the 1.9 internally displaced Gazans.

On the other hand, in the northern area of ​​Gaza, according to the United Nations and the Red Crescent, there are still some 800,000 people suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis due to difficulties in accessing food, water, humanitarian aid or basic supplies such as medicine.
