Once again the alarm is being sounded about school housing: ‘Aren’t our children important enough?’


Leaks, barely any ventilation options, no sustainability, decades of waiting for new construction: not for the first time, the alarm has been sounded about school housing, now through an open letter to the minister. According to municipalities and the two largest school boards, more than one billion euros per year is needed, but the lobbying is not yet going as desired. “We have already said: maybe we should let children drive onto the Malieveld in toy tractors.”
