Kabul. A total of 75 Afghan prisoners were released from Pakistani jails on Tuesday and have returned to their motherland Afghanistan through the Torkham border. Government news agency Bakhtar gave this information on Wednesday.
According to the agency, so far Pakistan has handed over around 2,516 Afghan prisoners lodged in their jails to the Afghan authorities through the Torkham border. A few weeks ago, the ministry also said that 52 Afghan prisoners were released from Pakistani jails and returned home.
