Various photo sizes need to be known for those of you who want to print then want to display photos. Because there are a number of photo sizes and it might make you confused later.
Just taking pictures on a cell phone or camera to capture the moment is not satisfying for some people. Because of this, there are people who prefer to print and store these photos in albums or display them
The size of the photos themselves varies. There are small ones, namely 2X3, 3X4, 4X6. Usually this size is used for passport photos for formal purposes, such as diplomas, identity cards (KTP), driving licenses (SIM), to ID cards.
As for large photo sizes, namely 2R, 3R, 4R, up to 30R. This photo size is useful for printing photos that are more informal. For example, family photos to be pasted on the wall of the house.
On large photo sizes there is an R letter symbol that follows the numbers, such as 10R. The letter R stands for ratio.

Various Photo Sizes
There are a number of standard photo sizes that apply in printing. Quoted from the snapy.co.id page, here are the various photo sizes:
1. Photo Size 2X3
This size is 2.79 cm long and 2.16 cm wide. When converted to millimeters, a 2X3 photo has a size of 21.6 x 27.9 mm. And if in inches, it measures 0.85 x 1.11 inches.
2. Photo Size 3X4
Size 3X4 is 2.79 cm wide and 3.81 cm long. If converted to millimeters, this photo measures 27.9 x 38.1 mm. And if in inches, it measures 1.11 x 1.50 inches.
3. Photo Size 4X6
The 4X6 is 3.81 cm wide and 5.59 cm long. If in millimeters, this photo has a size of 38.1 x 55.9 mm. If in inches, it measures 1.50 x 2.20 inches.
4. Photo Size 1R
This size is 5 cm long and 7.5 cm wide. When converted to millimeters, a 1R photo has a size of 50 x 75 mm. And if in inches, it measures 1.96 x 2.95 inches.
5. Photo Size 2R
Size 2R is 6.35 cm wide and 8.89 cm long. Converted to millimeters, this photo measures 635 x 889 mm. And if it’s in inches, it’s 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
6. Photo Size 3R
For 3R photos, it is 8.89 cm wide and 12.7 cm long. If in millimeters, this photo has a size of 88.9 x 127 mm. If in inches, measuring 3.5 x 5 inches.
7. Photo Size 4R
This size is 15.2 cm long and 10.2 cm wide. When converted to millimeters, a 4R photo has a size of 102 x 152 mm. And if it’s in inches, it’s 4 x 6 inches.
8. Photo Size 5R
Size 5R is 12.7 cm wide and 17.8 cm long. If converted to millimeters, this photo measures 127 x 178 mm. And if it’s in inches, it’s 5 x 7 inches.
9. Photo Size 6R
The 6R photo is 15.2 cm wide and 20.3 cm long. If in millimeters, this photo has a size of 152 x 203 mm. If in inches, measure 6 x 8 inches.
10. Photo Size 8R
This size is 25.4 cm long and 20.3 cm wide. When converted to millimeters, 8R photos have a size of 203 x 25.4 mm. And if it’s in inches, it’s 8 x 10 inches.
11. Photo Size 10R
Size 10R is 25.4 cm wide and 30.5 cm long. If converted to millimeters, this photo measures 254 x 305 mm. And if it’s in inches, it’s 10 x 12 inches.
12. Photo Size 12R
The 12R photo is 30.5 cm wide and 38.1 cm long. If in millimeters, this photo has a size of 305 x 381 mm. If in inches, it measures 12 x 15 inches.
13. Photo Size 20R
This size is 60.9 cm long and 50.8 cm wide. When converted to millimeters, a 20R photo has a size of 508 x 609 mm. And if it’s in inches, it’s 20 x 24 inches.
14. Photo Size 24R
Size 24R is 60.9 cm wide and 80 cm long. If converted to millimeters, this photo measures 609 x 800 mm. And if in inches, it measures 24 x 31.5 inches.
15. Photo Size 30R
The 30R photo is 76.2 cm wide and 101.6 cm long. If in millimeters, this photo has a size of 762 x 1016 mm. If in inches, it measures 30 x 40 inches.
