Plane shot down in Afghanistan not Indian: ‘DCGA’ statement | leader








Leader Online Desk : A passenger plane has reportedly crashed in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province on Sunday. Afghan media claimed that the plane was Indian. But this plane is not Indian. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DCGA) has clarified that the Indian aircraft is not flying.

Zabihullah Amiri, head of Badakhshan’s information and culture department, said the passenger plane crashed in the Tofkhana mountains near Kuran-Munjan and Zebak districts in Badakhshan province. A team has been sent to the area to investigate, he said. According to local people, the accident took place on Sunday morning.
