Play-off excitement in the NBA started with 4 games

In the Eastern Conference play-off first-round matchup, the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Toronto Raptors 131-111 on the field to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Tyrese Maxey, who had 38 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the Sixers, became the architect of the victory. Joel Embiid had a double-double with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and James Harden 22 points and 14 assists.

For Raptors, Paskal Siakam finished the game with 24 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, OG Anunoby 20 points and 7 rebounds.

Warriors start the series with a win

Having defeated the Denver Nuggets 123-107 in the play-off first round match in the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors started the series with a win.

Jordan Poole, who scored 30 points for the Warriors, was the game’s top scorer. Klay Thompson contributed 19 points, Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins each contributed 16.

Nikola Jokic scored a “double double” with 25 points and 10 rebounds in the Nuggets, and Will Barton scored 24 points.
