Jakarta –
My first impression when I saw it Realme 11 Pro+, I find this phone very interesting because the design is different from the usual cellphones. After being traced, the outside of this cellphone was designed by a former Gucci designer named Matteo Menotto.
The back of the camera is wrapped in a vegan leather texture, making it look luxurious. This cellphone is available in several versions, including sunrise beige, oasis green and black.

Realme 11 Pro+ has two camera modules, the main module uses the latest image sensor, namely the 200MP ISOCELL HP2, combined with a 23mm f/1.7 wide lens. This 200MP sensor is the latest technology which is usually only used in the best/flagship cellphones of each cellphone brand.
The second module has an 8MP f/2.2 sensor with a 16mm ultra wide lens. and an additional 2MP f/2.4 module for macros. By default, the resulting image is 12.5 MP resulting from binning 16 pixels into one. In dark conditions, according to my observations the results are still very good in terms of detail, sharpness and color.

For high-res photos, we can choose a mode that is more effective when shooting in bright light conditions. If used in dark light conditions, the camera will take a moment to process the image. Practically speaking, we will only use hi-res mode in very special places with lots of light, because if used for everyday photos, 200MP is too big and takes up space. 1 file is around 15-30 MP while the 12MP file is only around 2-3MP.

In Photo mode, the ability to in-sensor zoom (crop) 2x (46mm equivalent) 4x crop (92mm) still produces 12MP images. This is the advantage of the latest 200MP sensor whose cross section is quite large, namely 1/1.4 inches, almost 1 inch which is usually used by premium compact cameras.
By relying on this 200MP module, Realme doesn’t really feel the need to install a camera module with a telephoto lens. And maybe that’s why the price of the phone is not so high. For me, a cellphone that sells for around 6-7 million is relatively cheap compared to competing cellphones that use a 200MP sensor with a telephoto zoom module, which is usually above 10 million and some are even close to 20 million.
Camera performance in general includes very fast autofocus, for video, the resolution is 4K 30fps and for slow motion full HD it can be up to 480fps. The video quality is equipped with gyro-EIS, making it easier for vlogging. The selfie camera is also quite large, namely 32MP. The 8mm ultra wide is a bit weak due to the small sensor size, but it’s fine when you need to shoot spacious interiors.
As the flagship model of Realme, the photo modes are also quite complete. But for me what’s interesting is the street photography mode, I happen to like travel and street here, there is a special street watermark and lonely planet, a publisher of travel books. There are also various filters including street and cinematic. In street mode, there is a choice of 16mm (8mp), 23mm, 46mm 92mm (13mp, 2.2mp) focal lengths. I personally avoid the 16mm and 92mm camera modules if it’s not urgent, and mostly use the 23 and 46mm on the grounds that they have better quality in terms of detail and noise.

For bokeh lovers, we can use Portrait mode, where we can adjust the aperture, the smaller the number, the blurrier the background. A pro mode is also available where we can set the shutter, WB and exposure value for light and dark.
For night photos with contrasting lighting, using night mode will automatically balance the lighting, there are moon and star modes too but unfortunately the Jakarta sky is too hazy to try these two modes.

In terms of cameras for photos and videos, I think the new large 200MP sensor is sophisticated and flexible. In my opinion, this cellphone is not only suitable for style because the design is luxurious, but the camera is also great and the technology is up to date.
