Sánchez will meet in Davos with the directors of technology companies such as Intel, Cisco and Qualcomm

The most important event for the world’s economic elite takes place this week in Davos. In the Swiss mountains, top business leaders and heads of state and government will meet at the World Economic Forum, among whom will be the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. On his agenda, in addition to a speech, there are meetings with the directors of companies such as Cisco, Intel, Qualcom or Siemens Energy, the parent company of Siemens Gamesa.

Beyond the informal meeting that Sánchez will hold on Wednesday afternoon with the main Spanish business leaders attending the World Economic Forum, he will also meet with directors of international firms. Upon his arrival in Davos at the end of this Tuesday, he will meet with Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins. Later he will attend a dinner organized by the multinational Intel with a small group of political leaders and CEOs of multinationals to later meet with the CEO of the technology company Qualcomm, Cristiano Amon.

The President of the Government’s speech within the framework of the forum will take place on Wednesday afternoon. His intervention will highlight the economic data of the Spanish economy in 2023, the figures for job creation and reduction in inflation in a framework in which economic uncertainty slows down. The objective is none other than to present Spain as an attractive country for investments to the world’s economic elite.

But Sánchez will start the day with a meeting with the CEO of Siemens Energy, parent company of Siemens Gamesa. He will follow an appointment with the CEO of the pharmaceutical company Sanofi, Paul Hudson, and will allocate half an hour to a meeting with the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates.

Beyond meetings with international media present at the event, Sánchez will meet with Google’s president of Global Affairs, Kent Walker, and then attend a lunch organized by the technology multinational in which they will talk about artificial intelligence. She will also meet with the CEO of Fujitsu, Takahito Tokita.

His last international meeting will be with twenty political leaders to talk about security in the Middle East. Already after his speech at the World Economic Forum, the President of the Government will meet with Spanish businessmen to exchange impressions on the economic perspectives.
