Head Online Desk : Shardul Thakur : Team India’s all-rounder Shardul Thakur bowled brilliantly against Bangladesh in the sixth match of the Super Four round of the Asia Cup on Friday. He bowled Tanjeed Hasan (13) on the first ball of the fourth over. On 28 runs, Shardul (Shardul Thakur) took the wicket of Inamul Haque (4). Shakib Al Hasan and Tawheed Hridayoy then put on a 101-run partnership for the 5th wicket. Shardul broke this partnership in the 34th over.
Shardul Thakur has broken the most century partnerships in ODIs since 2022. He has done this feat 4 times so far. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj are second in the list. Both these fast bowlers have managed to break 100-plus runs partnership twice each. Also Kuldeep Yadav, Avesh Khan and Umran Malik are joint third. All three bowlers have broken century partnerships once each in ODIs.
