Sri Lankan government imposes curfew

Prime Minister Rajapaksa, who is a member of the ruling Popular Front Party of Sri Lanka and the president’s older brother, resigned amid protests, ANI News reported citing local sources.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will call on all parties in parliament to negotiate the formation of a new government.
