The Turkish Consulate General in Paris was attacked by supporters of the terrorist organization PKK.
According to information received by the Anadolu Agency from diplomatic sources, around 02:30 local time on the night of May 12, the Consulate General in Paris was attacked with explosives such as fireworks by people whose identities have not yet been established.
As a result of the attack, windows and the outer wall of the Consulate General building were damaged. The French authorities launched an investigation into the incident.
According to informed sources, groups associated with the PKK claimed responsibility for the attack.
The provincial prefect of Hauts-de-Saint-Laurent Hottio condemned the attack on the Turkish consulate in Paris.
