The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced on Monday the neutralization of ten PKK / YPG terrorists in the area of Operation Source of Peace, in northern Syria.
In a statement, the Turkish Defense said that its forces neutralized the terrorists who were about to carry out an attack against the area of Operation Source of Peace.
Turkey launched Operation Euphrates Shield on August 24, 2016, then Operation Olive Branch in Afrin on January 20, 2018, and Operation Peace Spring on October 9, 2019, to eliminate the terrorist elements in northern Syria.
The PKK terrorist organization, which has been carrying out a terrorist campaign for more than thirty years against Turkey, is responsible for the deaths of about 40 thousand people, including a large number of women, children and infants. The PKK is classified as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union. The YPG is the Syrian branch.
