The success achieved by Azerbaijan in the Karabakh war will be continued by the efforts of young people who are interested in technology and innovation. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev at the opening of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Cosmonautics and Technology Festival in Baku.
The minister recalled that this year the TEKNOFEST festival is being held outside of Turkey for the first time, which is a vivid example of brotherhood, friendship and strategic alliance between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
According to him, in the modern world, technology is equivalent to development and progress, and the organization of the festival is “a demonstration of the readiness of the two fraternal countries to jointly move into the future.”
He noted that the current festival in Baku is aimed at increasing the interest in technologies of the younger generation of citizens, which the Azerbaijani people are rightfully proud of.
“Under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief [президента Азербайджана] Ilham Aliyev’s youth during the 44-day war liberated the lands that had been under occupation for 30 years. All generations of citizens contributed to the historic victory. The youth of the period of Ilham Aliyev’s presidency bears a special responsibility for the future of the country. I am sure that the youth participating in the festival will continue the success of the country, including in the field of technology and innovation. The importance of initiatives like TEKNOFEST cannot be overestimated. TEKNOFEST teaches young people to work together, share experience, learn from each other. Everyone wins – every participant,” Nabiev said.
“For four days, Baku is the scene for a holiday. TEKNOFEST is a victory for science, technology and brotherhood. Long live the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood!” the minister said.
TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan, organized in the Baku Crystal Hall and National Park with the support of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey with the support of important institutions and companies of the country, will continue until May 29.
