According to local media reports, the minor was allegedly kidnapped by armed and hooded individuals when leaving her high school.

According to the official report of the Secretariat of Public Security and Municipal Transit (SSPyTM) of Culiacán, the initial report was given at approximately 7:05 p.m., in which they reported that unknown men had deprived a student of her freedom with protection. identity card, which was placed against her will into a vehicle, in which they fled.

After being alerted, authorities implemented a search device, but without positive results. However, around 7:30 p.m. that same Friday, the same minor who had been kidnapped reported her whereabouts to the emergency number.

The municipal corporation announced that they went to the site of the report at the entrance to the Villa Adolfo Mateos “El Tamarindo” receivership, west of Culiacán, and confirmed that the young woman who had been reported missing was at that point. which put her under the protection of the corresponding authority.

Local media reports indicate that the minor was allegedly kidnapped by armed men.

In this regard, the investigating authority began investigations into the case of the minor in a week that has seen two more women with attacks, one of them murdered and found next to a burning tire and the other, injured in a circus trailer. installed in the Tres Ríos sector.

The deceased woman was identified as Mayra, who would have been the partner of a man, both found on a property in the San Lorenzo district, south of the city, on the morning of February 4.

Regarding the other case, the woman injured by a gunshot was identified as Claudia, who is 44 years old and is a circus worker. So far the investigating authority has not given more details about the incident, which occurred during the early hours of February 9.

In 2023, Sinaloa closed with 33 cases of feminicide, according to figures from the Women’s Secretariat.

Likewise, data from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System, Culiacán was in 12th place among the 100 municipalities with alleged femicides reported during 2023.
