Reactions continue to the burning of the Holy Quran under police protection in various cities of Sweden by Rasmus Paludan, the leader of the Danish far-right Tight Direction Party (Stram Kurs).
In the news of the country’s Expressen newspaper, it was stated that a group of demonstrators protesting Paludan in Norrköpin attacked the police with stones, and 3 demonstrators were injured as a result of the fire opened by the police.
In a statement made by the Norköping police, it was argued that fire was fired into the air to stop the demonstrators attacking the police, while several people were injured. No information was given about the health status of the injured.
Paludan burned the Quran in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and in the cities of Malmö, Norköpin and Jönköping. During the riots in these regions, 125 police vehicles were damaged, 34 police officers were injured, and 13 people were detained.
