Diplomatic sources informed Anadolu Agency that the deputy secretary of the French Embassy in Ankara was summoned to the Foreign Ministry for yesterday’s “terrorist attack” against the Turkish Consulate General in Paris.
Likewise, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, urged the French authorities to take “concrete legal measures” against the perpetrators of the attack.

The attack caused material damage to one of the windows and to the exterior wall of the building.
French authorities launched an investigation into the incident.
Groups affiliated with the PKK terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the attack.
The administrative department of the Hauts-de-Seine region, in the northwest of the French capital, condemned the attack on Twitter and conveyed a message of solidarity with the Turkish consul general and consular staff.
