Turkish Armed Forces Attack PKK/YPG Terrorists in Northern Syria

The Turkish Armed Forces attacked the positions of the terrorist organization PKK / YPG in northern Syria. This was reported by the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey.

The fire was opened in response to mortar shelling by militants in the Karkamysh region and the Kopryubati checkpoint on the Syrian-Turkish border. The attack was carried out from the territory of the Ain al-Arab region in northern Syria.

According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, as a result of the attack, four servicemen and one civilian were injured from the Turkish side.

Reportedly, after the strikes of the Turkish army over the positions of terrorists in the west of Ain al-Arab, clouds of smoke and flames were seen.

Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced the neutralization of 6 PKK / YPG terrorists in response to the shelling of the Karkamysh region and the Köprübati checkpoint.
