First Lady of the United States (US) Jill Biden again tested positive for the Corona virus (COVID-19) just days before her husband, President Joe Biden, was scheduled to travel abroad to attend the G20 Summit in India. How is Biden’s condition?
As reported Reuters, Tuesday (5/9/2023), Jill, who is now 72 years old, was declared infected with COVID-19 with mild symptoms. He had previously been infected with Corona in August last year.
A White House statement stated that Biden, who is now 80 years old, had undergone a test and tested negative for COVID-19. He was previously infected with Corona in July 2022.
“Tonight, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19,” said the First Lady’s Director of Communications, Elizabeth Alexander, in a statement.
“He will remain at their residence in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,” he added.
Biden reportedly flew solo back from Delaware on Monday (4/9) evening, after his wife tested positive for COVID-19.
“After the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19, President Biden underwent a COVID test this evening,” the White House said in a statement.
“The president has tested negative. The president will undergo regular tests this week and be monitored for symptoms,” said the statement.
