WhatsApp currently developing the feature of sharing message history in chat groups or group chats. This feature allows members who have just joined a group to know what chats are being discussed before they enter the group.
Previously, until now, for new members who entered the group, they could not see the previous chats in the group. Well, this function will soon change because the latest beta version v188.8.131.52 shows the existence of a history sharing feature which is currently in the development stage.
According to AndroidPolicebased on the screenshots shared by WABetaInfo, the feature is shown more to group admins.

These screenshots explain the details, like how WhatsApp will only show message history from the last 24 hours to new members. Additionally, emphasized by Meta regarding privacy, they confirmed that all messages shared with new participants will be end-to-end encrypted, as is text and other media shared on the platform.
This feature will also have a button, so group admins can enable history sharing for their group there, without going into the group settings.
This change will make group chats more inclusive, giving new users quick access to the context of an ongoing conversation. This feature can be very useful for Communities as such control over chat settings is very important.
