Zacatecas drivers reported missing after trip to Durango found alive

ZACATECAS Zac. (process.com.mx).- State authorities announced that the four drivers, two enforcement and a taxi driver, reported missing after transporting passengers to Durango on Friday, were rescued alive.

The secretary of the government of Zacatecas, Rodrigo Reyes, announced that after an operation carried out by state and federal authorities, the three drivers were located.

He made the announcement this Saturday night in a publication on the social network Facebook, accompanied by a photograph showing the three men who, he said, were reported as not located.

The state Attorney General’s Office had reported two hours earlier that together with Durango authorities they were searching for the operators, Julio César, 34 years old, Adalberto, 53 years old, and José Roberto, 28 years old, after receiving reports of their disappearance. by their relatives after they lost communication since Friday when they transferred passengers to the state of Durango.

The Undersecretary of Public Security, Óscar Aparión Avendaño, reported that the three drivers, along with their vehicles, were “rescued” after operations carried out on rural roads and communities in the municipalities of Río Grande and Sombrerete, bordering Durango.

In a video message, released by the Spokesperson of the State Peacebuilding Committee, the police command said that the Zacatecas Prosecutor’s Office will give more details of these illegal deprivations of liberty, which, they insisted, occurred in Durango.
